Your one stop shop for tank bags. We carry the largest selection of tank bags in Northern Thailand
We have several brands of tank bag but the most popular is Scoyco, made to last and great value for price. The tank bag can be a rider’s best friend. From storing a loaf of bread during a shopping run to making sure that your rain suit is handy, the tank bag is a welcome addition to the motorcycle. Many of these tank bags will also double as tail bags, with accompanying straps to secure the bags to the rear seat and/or rear fender. Most of them can be used in a low profile, rising up on the tank from four to six inches. With the flip of a zipper, most of the bags can be increased in height another two to six inches, increasing your carrying capacity. The front of most of these bags have a clear cover, perfect for securing your map, for easy at-a-glance map references while you ride.
Many of the bags have large external pockets for storing and easily retrieving those sunglasses, small drinks, mobile phones and cameras. Rain covers come with some of the models and some models have a waterproof liner inside. Some of our bags double as backpacks, with nice shoulder harnesses integrated into them while others come with a nice shoulder carry strap and/or carry handle. This makes for an easy trip to the guest-house when the day’s ride has ended. All of the tank bags use a number of magnets to secure them to the fuel tank and most also have at least one safety strap just in case. Several models come with enough straps to fit a bag nicely to the plastic fuel tank when a steel tank is not available.
Let us know what you’re looking for. We can help you select what is right for you and your bike. You’re always welcome to stop in, fit a bag on your bike and go for a test ride to make sure it is the bag you want. You will notice that we carry the latest Scoyco tank bags. We carry several other lines as well and all are good quality bags. If we find a bag that appears cheap or sub-standard, we don’t stock it. You can feel at ease ordering a tank bag from Chiang Rai Saddlebags.
